It’s time to decide what to wear family pictures! After you schedule your family photos, pick your outfit FIRST, mama! Remember, there is no such thing as “too dressy” for a portrait session. Now is your time to get in front of the camera with your kiddos, so treat yourself to a dress you love! Then coordinate everyone else's outfits around yours.
My favorite places to shop for gorgeous photoshoot dresses are online boutiques Fhrnvi and Joyfolie, but I also share some links to some beautiful Amazon dresses in this post too! I love long dresses and skirts for mothers because they can create movement in a photograph, such as blowing in the wind or twirling around! Dressy photos always stand out amongst those who go the more casual route and they are flattering on every body type. I also always suggest long dresses over short dresses because you may be running around at a park or sitting on the ground with your kiddos.

I also love simple floral prints and high wasted skirts. I want the dress to add dimension and detail to your photoshoot, but not steal the show.
